Zia Rita, everyone’s favourite Italian auntie, runs a small, artisanal, gluten-free bakery in historic Bath, Ontario. Herself a celiac for many years, Zia Rita has dedicated her business to converting favourite comfort foods from her Italian childhood into gluten-free versions. Gluten-free means that her baking contains no wheat, barley or rye in any form.

Now in its second year, the bakery has become a destination for locals, and an attraction for new customers traveling through from near and far. At Zia Rita’s you’ll be drawn in by the mouth-watering aroma of freshly baked bread, buns, muffins and an ever-changing variety of delicious treats.  These can include several different flavours of biscotti, cookies and muffins. With a very personalized touch, customers can also order a variety of cakes for special occasions.

Everything is gluten-free, all the time, and many baked items are dairy-free too.
